The problem
Handsets are compared side by side on a phone, usually on a bad connection, usually in a shop. A spec page that takes four seconds loses to the one that takes one.
What we built
A catalogue with a hard performance budget agreed before the design started. No hero video, no font loading race, no layout shift once the page is up, and a comparison view that works with one thumb.
What changed
The fastest site on this list, and the one with the most to load.
